The ‘Plan Estatal de Vivienda 2018-2021, which has a clearly social focus, provided up to 10.800€ for those young people that are wanting to buy a property, has informed this Thursday the Ministry of Development, Iñigo de la Serna.

From these supports, that will have a limit of the 20 % of value of the property, young people up to 35 years old will be benefits of this support.

Otherwise, Development Ministry, hopes to begin the processing of the Royal Decree next June 1st, for the plan to take effect on January 1st 2018.

Other of the novelties of this ‘Plan de Vivienda’ is the increase of 600 to 900€ as maximum amount for rent supports r the introduction of mechanisms that facilitate the granting of loans by financial institutions to the rehabilitation, regeneration, urban o rural renewal, amongst others. Likewise, a program is included in the plan that makes available the unoccupied dwellings of the Sareb and the financial entities, so that the autonomous communities can rent them to people who are in a situation of eviction from their habitual housing.
